Registering at Sly: an account that starts with an exit
Opening an online casino account takes a few minutes and looks like pure paperwork. In fact it is the only moment you face the account completely calm: there is no balance yet, no loss to win back, no bonus pulling at you. That is why this page treats registration not as an entrance but as the moment you program the exit — the stop-points and limits that will later work in place of willpower. We describe the usual sequence; the actual form and its fields are set by the operator and may differ.
The four registration steps
Step 1: Open the official form
Only start from the operator's official address, never from a link in an unknown chat or email. Check the spelling of the domain and the padlock in the address bar.
Step 2: Enter real details
Expect to give an email, a password and personal details such as name and date of birth. Type them exactly as they appear on your ID — a mismatch later stops withdrawals.
Step 3: Confirm the account
Operators usually send a confirmation link or code. Use a unique password you don't use anywhere else and switch on two-factor protection if it is offered.
Step 4: Settings before the cashier
Before you open the cashier, go to the profile settings and set a deposit limit and a session-time reminder. Only then think about a deposit and whether you want a bonus at all.

Gambling is permitted for people aged 18 and over (some countries set a higher age). Operators check age during verification, and an account opened by a minor is closed, usually with any winnings voided. On a family device, don't let the browser remember the password.
Identity verification: do it straight away
Verification normally asks for a national ID card or passport; for players in Bulgaria that is typically the лична карта with the personal number (ЕГН). Some operators also ask for proof of address or proof that the payment method is yours. The best time to upload documents is on the day you register, when you're in no hurry. Leave it until the first withdrawal and you'll be waiting for approval exactly when you want the money out — and that wait is fertile ground for "a little more play" with the balance you meant to withdraw. Use a clear photo with no glare and all four corners visible.
Three stop-points, written in at sign-up
In our model every session has three stop-points: the clock time you log off, the loss that ends the evening, and a state of mind — tiredness, anger, chasing — that stops play whatever the balance. At registration it is easy to turn them into settings where the account allows it:
- The time stop is backed by a reality-check reminder or a session limit.
- The money stop by a daily or weekly deposit limit set below what you "can afford".
- The state stop has no button; it is kept by habit. Write it on a note next to the screen.

Check the licence before signing up
Before handing over personal data, look the operator up in your regulator's public register and compare the company name with the one in the terms. In Bulgaria that is the National Revenue Agency's register of licensed online gambling on nra.bg. Data protection and your right to complain depend on it.
Common mistakes
- Registering with someone else's details or card — the withdrawal will almost certainly be refused.
- Accepting a welcome bonus out of habit without reading the terms in Bonuses.
- A second account after self-excluding — it defeats the protection you asked for.
- A first deposit bigger than the evening's money stop.
