Sly promo codes: a key to an offer, not the offer itself

A promo code is a short word or string that activates a specific promotion — a deposit bonus, free spins or entry to a campaign. The code gives nothing by itself: behind it are the offer's conditions, which are the same as they would be without a code. You won't find an "exclusive code" for Sly here — we don't distribute codes and cannot guarantee that a random code from the internet is valid. Current codes, if the operator uses them, are in its promotions section or its official emails.

Where a code is usually entered

At registration — a "promo code" or "bonus code" field in the form.
In the cashier when depositing — a field before you confirm payment.
In the account — a separate section for redeeming codes.

If the code must be entered before the deposit and you forgot, activating it afterwards is often impossible. Check the conditions in advance, not after you've paid. Methods and limits in the cashier depend on the operator and your account.

How to spot a dubious code

The site offering it asks you to enter card details or log in to your account there.
It promises amounts and percentages that appear nowhere in the official promotions.
There is no expiry date or terms — just "enter and win".
It asks you to download an app from an unknown source.

A genuine promo code always leads to an offer that is also described in the operator's rules. If you can't find the rules, don't enter the code.

"Code expires in one hour" — pressure, not information

Short deadlines in promotional messages exist to make you decide fast. A quick deposit decision is the opposite of what the three stop-points ask for. If a code arrives when you hadn't planned to play, let it expire. You lose nothing: tomorrow there will be another offer, and the decision to play is better made by you than by a timer in an email. If such messages tempt you regularly, switch off marketing notifications in the account settings.

A hypothetical example: code versus no code

Say the code gives 20 spins on a €20 deposit — the example is invented. Without the code your deposit is free: you can play and withdraw whenever you choose. With it you get the spins, but their winnings usually carry their own turnover. Neither option is "good value" or "bad value" — they differ in how much freedom to stop you keep.
