Refer a friend: the reward is the small part of the decision
Refer-a-friend programmes work in a similar way at most operators: you get a personal link or code, your friend registers through it, deposits and meets certain conditions, and then both of you — or only you — receive a bonus. This page is not about squeezing more out of referrals. It is about the question the adverts never ask: what exactly are you offering the person you invite?

- A new account. Your friend must not have held a profile with the operator before.
- A minimum deposit and turnover by the invitee. The reward often unlocks only once the friend has staked a set amount.
- Separate households. Invitations to people at the same address or on the same device usually don't count.
- A wagered bonus. The reward most often arrives as bonus balance with wagering rather than withdrawable money.
- A cap on invitations. Many programmes limit how many friends can be referred.
Note the second point: your reward depends on how much your friend has staked. The programme puts you in a position where you benefit from the other person playing more.
Before you send the link: three questions
- Do you know how this person plays? If you have ever noticed them chasing losses or hiding what they spend, an invitation may harm them more than any bonus helps.
- Will you tell them about stop-points too? An honest recommendation sounds like "I tried it, here's how I set my limits", not "sign up, there's a bonus".
- Would you send the link if there were no reward? If not, the recommendation is about the bonus, not the friend.
When you are the one invited
If you receive an invitation, the conditions are the same as for any registration: 18+, identity verification before withdrawal, one account per person. The invitee bonus usually carries its own wagering requirement. Write down your three stop-points before the first deposit regardless of who invited you, and don't feel obliged to play more "so they get their reward too".
